Right To Information Act 2005
The Right to Information Act, 2005 and obligations of public authorities [under Section 4(1)(b)] has been enacted by the Govt. of India and has come into force from 15 June, 2005. This Act provides access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.
The college has committed to follow the RTI Act as per the AICTE/PCI/BPUT/OUHS/Govt. of Odisha.
The following members are designated to look into the matters related to RTI Act.
Procedure for seeking information:
Any information disclosure of which is not prohibited by any law and information is related to the public affairs of this Institute is open for public and may be obtained from the Public Information Officer (PIO) of this Institute by written applications for seeking such information. All RTI applications must clearly specify the full name, address, contact number of the applicant and full particulars of the information required with relevant reference, if any one request for information may made application in English only. Requests may be sent by post or personally handed over in the PIO of the Institute during working hours of the Institute.
